Okay, let's all face it; nails are important! These days you can walk into a nail salon and find loads of brands and polishes to choose from. Many of us have our own preference for nail color and don't really like to switch it up much, while others are eager and excited to see what hot new colors the new season will bring! Spring is just around the corner and some hot new shades are rolling right with it! It looks like the new trend is definitely going to be pale and interesting. Looks like we are saying good bye to the dark shades and replacing it with lilacs, sky blues, and candy floss pinks. Keep an open eye for nail brands like OPI and Essie; they are releasing seasonal collections like designer ready-to-wear. Let's get excited for those manicures and pedicures!

This past Sunday, May 3rd was the annual Senior Fashion Show and also the 35th Anniversary of my sorority. The event took place at the beautiful Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach. We had over 200 guests who were thrilled to receive their BCBGeneration coupons! The coupons were placed in each program and the guests were excited and seemed very interested! Diana and I were even approached by some guests who were extra curious and interested as to the type of clothing BCBGeneration has to offer. Overall, the event was a success and the BCBGeneration coupons only added to the success and excitement!

| SHOEDAZZLE!? |

So I was watching E news just the other day and Kim Kardashian was advertising her new website/business called ShoeDazzle. So here is the deal: You subscribe and pay a fee of $39 per month and membership includes one pair of shoes per month. You take a fashion survey and the "stylists" will provide you with a choice of 5 shoes per month, which you will then choose the pair you would like for that month.
I was browsing the site, shoedazzle.com, and recognized a couple of the shoes. I had seen them in a hole in the wall store at the mall for only $29! Don't get me wrong, I think this "ShoeDazzle" business is a great idea, but are you really getting your money's worth or is it just too good to be true??

Dropping thousands of dollars on handbags seems unreal to many people, so many will resort to purchasing imitation handbags. Is it worth it? Can people tell the difference? After reading this detailed guide, you will be on your way to spotting those fakes!
HOW TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEENA REAL CHANEL AND A REPLICA!!
Step 1: Check the logo. The Chanel logo is comprised of two interlocking "C" letters that face away from each other. The top of the right-facing "C" should bisect the top of the left-facing "C." Some vintage bags exist that have a reverse overlap located on the interior flap. This rule is for handbags only and does not necessarily apply to other items in the Chanel line.
Step 2: Find the authenticity card. An authentic Chanel bag comes with one. This embossed card contains a serial number. If there's no card, if the card is not embossed or if there is no serial number included in the text, the bag is likely a knock-off.
Step 3: Locate the serial number. There must be a serial number placed somewhere within the bag's interior. Prior to the late 1990s, the serial number was printed on a white sticker with the Chanel logo printed in gold across the background. From the late 1990s to the present, the serial number has been printed on a white sticker beneath 2 gold Chanel logos. The serial number is most often located inside the bag at the lower left corner or on the zipper pocket. The sticker should be covered with a rectangle of clear tape large enough to cover the entire sticker.
Step 4: Examine both the serial number on the authenticity card and the serial number on the bag. They must match.
Step 5: Look closely at the hardware on the strap of the bag. The Chanel name or logo should be engraved on the strap's hardware. If an engraving is missing, chances are the bag is a fake.
Step 6: Examine both sides of any zipper pull hardware. One side is engraved "Chanel" and the other is engraved with the Chanel logo. The pull itself must match the rest of the bag's hardware in color and tone.
Step 7: Track any repeating pattern on the bag. The logos and quilting must line up. If there is a pocket sewn to the front of a quilted bag, the quilted pattern does not break or deviate on the bag. The pattern aligns from the top to the bottom of the bag as if there was no pocket at all. And last but not least..Jesus Crimany people. Check inside and read where your bag was made from. If it says "Made in France", it's a total Replica.. where it should say it was made in if your handbag is real is "Made in Italy"
